I was born in Southern California in 1966. My two fondest memories of LA where (1) my mom driving the family sedan through the garage door and (2) our 5 foot deep above ground pool splitting open and watching from higher ground on top of our climbing tower as my older brother got swept through the side gate and out into the street from the pool tsunami.

My parents moved us from LA to Neola UT population 300 in the early 70′s. Neola had no stop light, no sidewalks – nothing. My two fondest memories of Neola where (1) getting off the bus after school and seeing the family truck totaled in the front field and my mother explaining that “a telephone pole had jumped out at her.” (do you see a pattern with my mom and her driving?) (2) My dad who’s a city boy learning to become a farmer and how he sucked my siblings and I into his farm education. For the record my farm provided countless life lessons and laughing points too many to share during this introduction but there’s a good chance you’ll hear about them in various posts going forward.

I grew up (only by age) got married, had a couple of kids and did my best to fit into society.

Years ago I thought I was crazy. No, like really crazy and I actually paid a shrink for 90 minutes of his time and he confirmed “you’re crazy!” but he continued “we’re all a little crazy and that’s what makes life so grand. Go find out who you are and what makes you tick and you won’t seem so crazy to yourself.” Here’s what I discovered.

I like most people suffer from a form of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), also known as multiple personality disorder. Inside my head there are 6 personalities fighting for limited space inside my brain.

1- The Earner – My “money making” personality
2- The Absorber – My “Learn something new” personality
3- The Rager – My “speak my mind” personality
4- The Wonderer – My “wow that’s pretty cool” personality
5- The Conqueror – My “if I was in charge – I’d………” personality
6- The Humorist – My “now that’s funny and irreverent” personality

My blog is all about me and my six friends.
